驻奥克兰总领馆同新中友协奥克兰分会联谊活动举办 

Networking event held by the Consulate General in Auckland and the Auckland Branch of the New China Friendship Association

中港澳国际新闻联合报道（世界文联、美洲华人卫视资深记者 蓝乙人 蒙仕荣）最近，记者从中国驻奥克兰总领馆采访获悉：9月5日，驻奥克兰总领馆同新中友协奥克兰分会举办联谊活动。陈世杰总领事、新中友协奥克兰分会主席李焱等30余人参加。

Joint report by China-Hong Kong-Macao International News (Lan Yiren and Meng Shirong, senior reporters from the World Federation of Chinese and America Chinese Satellite TV): Recently, reporters learned from an interview at the Consulate General of China in Auckland that on September 5, the Consulate General in Auckland held a friendship event the Auckland branch of the New Zealand-China Friendship Association. More than 30 people attended, including Consul General Chen Shijie and Li Yan, Chairman of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand-China Friendship Association.

据报道，陈总在讲话中向分会新当选主席、副主席及理事表示祝贺，感谢分会为增进中新民众相互了解和友谊所作贡献，勉励大家继续做中新友好故事的讲述者、双边合作的推动者、路易·艾黎精神的传承者，携手领区各界共同谱写中新友谊新篇章。

It is reported that in his speech, Mr. Chen congratulated the newly elected chairman, vice chairmen, and council members of the branch; expressed for the branch's contributions to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the people of China and Singapore; and encouraged everyone to continue being storytellers of China-Singapore friendship, of bilateral cooperation, and inheritors of the spirit of Louis Allen, working hand in hand with all sectors in the consular district to jointly write a new chapter of-Singapore friendship.

李焱表示，分会将继续以弘扬路易·艾黎精神为己任，发挥好桥梁纽带作用，让更多新西兰民众了解中国、认识中国，为深化两国友谊作出新的更大贡献。

Li Yan stated that the branch will continue to take it upon itself to carry forward the spirit of Louis Emme; play its role as a bridge bond well; and let more New Zealand people understand and know China, making new and greater contributions to deepening the friendship between the two countries.

总领馆馆员与分会成员欢聚一堂、畅叙友谊，双方分别表演节目，并合唱毛利歌曲《让我们团结在一起》，现场气氛友好、热烈。

Consular staff and branch members gathered to enjoy each other's company and strengthen their friendship; both sides performed programs and sang the Maori song "Let Unite", creating a friendly and warm atmosphere.
